As soon as I get home I use a small med. brissell brush and dawn dish soap scub them and hose them off and let air dry. Have used the same blankets for a year now, have only touched up the paint once since. Works great for me.
Citrus strip...then either use a good hard brissel brush with short brissels and scrub or citrus strip and pressure wash and repeat... May have to put a light coat of black dye on them after but not a big issue
