VFBA (VA Fox Beagle Assocation) HUNT # 2 - IVY BLUFF FOX PRESERVE - January 12th, 2013
Well I can't believe it is almost that time again to crank back up the trial season! I hope everyone has had a safe, successful hunting season so far and is ready to get back inside the wire.
Our second hunt of the season is the Saturday after deer season lets out (January 12th, 2013) at Ivy Bluff Fox Preserve in Burkeville, VA
The address to the pen is 4219 Bethel Church Rd. Green Bay, VA. 23942
We will start Pre Registration for all members on Thursday January 3rd at 6pm. You will need to call Doug Nicholson at 757-646-9559 to get your numbers. We have a limit of 125 dogs in this pen, so all VFBA members can pre-register up to 5 dogs. Any numbers left remaining on Sunday night Jan. 6th will then be handed out to non members. NOTE- remember that the numbers you get for this hunt are only for this hunt and are NOT for the remainder of the season!!!
We will cast around 7:15 am
Roll Call will be at 645am
Registration will start at 530am
Little Nottoway Hunt Club will be hosting this hunt for us and they always do a good job of packing the pen with judges and putting on a good hunt for us. Make sure you come out to support them as well as the Association.
If you have not paid your dues yet, you can do so at the beginning of this hunt which will allow you to ac***ulate series points from this point forward.
