We were hunting one block of woods, one if my dogs blew out. Left him as the rest were in the block we were hunting. Went to get him and noticed he was acting funny when coming up to me. Then I saw his leg. Upon more looking I saw where he had a wound with a small hole throughout t he other side, the same size as a pellet of buck shot. This is the second dog same block of woods... I know who you are, I hope you're reading this......... I have seen a few more post on here about this crap. It's got to stop.......

JASON IVE BEEN SETTING HERE FOR 2 HRS WANTING TO POST ON THIS MATTER..I HAVE SOME FRIENDS THAT HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM..THEY CAUGHT THE GUY HELD HIM TO THE GAME WARDEN GOT THERE AND THE WARDEN DID HIS JOB WELL..DUDE WAS HIT HARD WITH CHARGES.........BUT ON THE OTHER HAND THE GUYS WITH THE SHOT DOG ALSO CALLED 1 OF OUR DOG ASSOC, AND EXPLAINED THE SITUTATION THIER REPONSE WAS ARE U A PAYING MEMBER IF NOT U NEED TO BE AND THAT WAS ABOUT THE END OF THE CONVERSATION...I WENT SIDE WAYS WHEN I HEARD THIS,,HERE WAS A CHANCE THAT WE COULD MAKE A EXAMPLE WITH HELP FROM ASSCO AND TAKE IT TO RALEIGH AND THAT WAS THE RESULTS.....I WANT GIVE ANOTHER DIME TO THAT ASSCO AND I HAVE WRITTEN HIM A LETTER OF MY FEELINGS...IM GIVING THEM ENOUGH TIME TO TELL ME THEIR SIDE OR REASON AND IT BETTER BE GOOD..I PERSOANLLY HAVE GIVEN OVER AND OVER TO THIS ACCSO AND TALKED THEM UP AND DID AS I WAS TOLD..U CAN BET IF HIS ANSWER DOESNT OVER WHELM ME WITH REASONABLE ANSWER IT WILL BE ON........ Im a member a the vahda. The dog that was shot last year the game warden was called and talked to the guy. This man told the club next door that he would shoot any mother fn dog that runs across his property. its just hard to prove he did it BC he's not shooting to kill, but to wound. but we all know its him. There will be a serious mis understanding when I see him....

A lil diesel fuel and a bic ligther works wonders just saying we have some land where we hunt that we have the same problem well guess what i cald the proper athorites last year with pics. 30-30 casings in hand and a dead dog laying 40 yrds. from a treestand guess what went nowhere it want happen like that anymore cause someone else wiil be calling the law next time

Also, it will never stop. Not to hijack your thread, but as long as all these still hunting shows are on tv, its just gonna get worse. Everybody thinks if ya have a food plot and dont shoot the 6 pointer, you'll have HUGE bucks. Always walk in the woods quietly with scent killer on and dont disturb the woods too bad because the deer will spok off to someplace else. I think tv hunters are what has sparked this crap and they are ignorant people who dont know any better other than what Michael Waddell has spoke of. Somebody might know somebody who might do who serious damage to someones property over stuff like this.... I hope you get him straight.

KNOW THE LAW

It is a class one misdemeanor in Virginia to remove a tracking collar (§ 18.2-97.1). The penalty may be up to a one thousand dollar fine and one year in prison. Obviously, there are other charges that may be filed related to the destruction or attempt to dispose of the collar. The theft of the dog (§18.2-97) or killing a dog (§ 18.2-144) are both class five felonies with prison time, fines and the loss of citizenship (loss of the right to keep and bear arms) as a consequence. It is unlawful for any person to deliver or release any animal not owned by that person to a pound, animal shelter or humane society or to pretend to be the agent of the owner (§ 18.2-144.2).
