The newly formed Carolina Game Chasers Association will have the first hunt of its 2012 series at Sandy Ridge Preserve (Shags) Jan. 21st 2012. Hunt will run 5 hours casting at daylight. Speed and Drive. Payback to the top 10 hounds. All 2012 hunts will be ran on Computer. Pen is stocked and running hard. Each hunt will count towards Hound of the Year for the Series and will be awarded at the end of the year. $10 yearly membership fee. $75 per dog entry fee. After pen fee, all money paid back to the hunters. Contact Chris Murray for questions, concerns, rules, and numbers. Book opens 0800 hours Tuesday Jan. 3rd. Hounds of the Year tabulation per hunt for this series will be as follows:

1st Place= 100 points
2nd Place= 90 points
3rd Place= 85 points
4th Place= 80 points
5th Place= 75 points
6th Place= 70 points
7th Place= 65 points
8th Place= 60 points
9th Place= 55 points
10th Place= 50 points

Any hound that does not place, but finishes the hunt will receive 20 points.
Once a hound has received Points, it can change Owners and retain those points earned. If you change a hounds name that has received points, it will not retain any previous points earned under a different name.
