Mrs. Elizabeth “Lib” T. Landingham, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital. She was born April 10, 1920 in Iredell County to Sylvanus Andrew and Betty Alice Messick Trivette. Mrs. Landingham was a member of Ogburn Memorial Methodist Church in Winston-Salem until moving to Morehead City where she became a member of First United Methodist Church. She was also very active in the United Methodist Church Women. Preceding her in death is her parents and husband, P. A. Landingham. Surviving is her son, Doug B. Landingham and wife Vicki of Otway; one sister, Cleo Disher; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. G. Thomas Shelton officiating.
