Depends on the dog. Its your call. Ive had some i could run the friday before the hunt and be ready for the hunt the next day and ive had some that needed almost two weeks to get ready. Most of the time i let mine rest 5-7 days before a hunt. Just my .02 tho for what its worth. Good luck

Dogs right tuff. But is the only one I am carrying hate him not to be 100%. Long drive I am making for the hunt too.

my 2 cents worth is to rest him up, if you ran him last week and running was not that great, at least he got some exercise wich i think is better than one running to they cant walk for days. good luck at hunt.and happy hunting to all.
