C&M Fox Preserve in Chadbourn,N.C. will be having their lst hunt of the season on Saturday, Jan. 9th. This will be a Puppy (under 12 mos.) and Derby (under 24 mos.)Numbers will start on Friday night Jan. lst at 7:30pm. Entry fee will be $26.00 per hound with $1.00 of each entry going to the North Carolina Wildlife Preserve Association. Cast will be at daylight. We will be doing a 6 month series starting with this hunt. More details on the series will be coming up. We are going to try to outdo last years series. The entry fee for the C&M Fox Preserve Puppy & Derby hunt on January 9th. has been increased to $31.00 for the 6 month series. The extra $5.00 for each entry each month will be awarded to the Puppy & Derby Winners each month. This will not affect the regular awards for the top 15 in each class. Any hound as long as he is in his age class can ac***ulate points for the championship. Example when a puppy turns 12 months old he will start running as a derby.
