The Eastern NC Foxhunters Association will be having a 2 class (AA and Derby) Speed and Drive hunt on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Foxtale Fox Preserve, Oak City, NC on HWY 11 North of Oak City. Trophies awarded to Top 15 speed and drive for each class. Master of Hounds will be Roscoe Dawson. There will be between 25 and 30 judges for this field trial.

Registering of hounds will begin at 4:00 am. Entry fee per hound is $26 which includes fee for bench show. Roll call will be at 5:30 a.m. Cast time will be at 6:00 a.m. To reserve your numbers contact Clif Parker @ 252-559-0400 beginning February 1, 2014 after 6:00 pm. Following the field trial there will be a bench show for the 2 classes (AA and Derby) the show will start at 2:00 pm. The fee to enter bench show is $10 each dog class if not running in field trial. The bench show judge will be Reggie Edwards.

Breakfast and lunch will be available. We will have raffles, half and half drawings, t-shirts and hats for sale. We are having a fund raiser, tickets for sale at $10 each for possible winnings of $500, $1000 and $1,500. These drawings will take place between the field trial and bench show.

Dogs will qualify for “Test of the Best”.
