Six year old Cody Clark was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent surgery at Duke University Hospital on Friday, Dec. 20, and the tumor was found to be malignant. Surgeons were unable to remove the entire tumor and Cody will now be taking chemotherapy and radiation.

There will be a Benefit Competition held on February 8, 2014 For Cody. This will be a heaviest coon competition; Start time is at 5pm to get all dogs signed in by 7pm. Entry fee of $15 per dog will be a 100% donation for the family; you can hunt solo or with your own team. One coon will be weighed per dog with second coon as a tie breaker. In order to have a chance to win your coon will need to be back by 1am so we can start the weigh in. Trophies will be awarded to 1st place winners there will be 3 first place trophies in case a 3 dog team wins; we will also have a half and half raffle. In addition to entry fees and raffle there will also be BBQ plates for sale starting at 5pm. This is a family event so there will be no drugs or alcoholic beverages if you are found guilty of such behavior you will be ask to leave.
