We had a good hunt Saturday despite the SHARP change in the weather. I arrived at the pen around 4am the temp. was about 75 degrees, by the time we
were ready to cast it was pouring down rain, wind about 25 to 30 mph and temp around 50 degrees. Cast was made at 7am in a stea dy rain, scenting conditions were terrible for about a hour before hounds settled down and could hold a track. Running was continous the rest of hunt and some pretty good scoring by the judges. Congratulations to Bert Hill for winning the Derby and High-Standard Kennels for the All Age Win.
