The Team Remy Benefit Hunt was held on June 30,2013 at C&M Fox Preserve in Chadbourn, NC. The weather was perfect to hold a field trial with only a little bit of rain the last hour of the hunt. We had hunters from several states including Virgina, Florida, and South Carolina to show up to support Remy. It was amazing to see the out pouring of support for the Howard family. We cast at 5:50 a.m. and the hunt was over 9:50 a.m. with 133 hounds in the field. Thanks to Dwight Little for Mastering the hunt. Thanks to Brett Bass and Brittany Lloyd for doing a great job judging the bench show. The judges worked extremely hard to get as many crossings as possible and the judges were as folllows: Danny Powers, Brad Howell, Bill McGee, Kevin Ad****, Brittany Lloyd, Butch Howell, David Bailey, Robin Barefoot, Tony Bailey, Matt Bailey, Jay Childs, Gary Euverard Jr. & Sr., Brad Burton, Cody Burton, Brett Bass, Michael Michell, Patrick Hamm, Dale Miller, & Tommy Carter. Irene Howell did a great job operating the computer and having the results ready in extremely timely manner. Please remember that the battle for Remy doesn't end after this hunt.
