The 2013 Vandemere Church Hunt is in the books. This year despite the weather, was another well organized success. A big thanks to all the Businesses, Companies, and Individuals who donated items to the raffle and to all the folks that made homemade cakes for another great cake auction. A big thanks to all the dog food companies that donate feed every year. This is one of the best hunts around to attend and as always, there is a great meal to be enjoyed by all. This years hunt was in memory of George Jones and Jerry Morris who both lost their battle to cancer within the last year. George was part pen owner of Bay City and an avid supporter of this hunt since its inception. Jerry was also an advid supporter and organizer of this event for several years. Again, thanks to everyone who entered hounds, judged, cooked, donated, and came out and supported a great cause. All proceeds from this event will be used to assist needy families in the area.
