Poor Boys Hunting Club in Halifax County NC, will have 2 Deerhound Field Trials in 2013.The first is on 1/19/13 and the second is on 3/30/13 They will be a 4hr 1 class S/D hunt. Entry Fee is $20 per hound and trophies will be awarded to the top 20 hounds. The hunting club is also going to donate $1 per hound entered in the hunt to the winning hound. Alton Hunting Club will be having their annual outside speed and drive hunt Feb. 23rd. Hunt will be from 7-12. Club is located on the southern end of Halifax County, VA, near the VA/NC border in Southside, VA. Plenty of land and plenty of judges. Will be awarding the top 25 places. Entry fee is $20/dog.
