Gates County Hunt Club in Gates Co., N.C., will be having an outside field trial on January 19, 2013. It's an open class Speed & Drive Hunt, cast at 8 a.m. Run for 4 hours with trophies awarded to the top 20. Entry fee is $15 per dog. Registration begins at 6 a.m., at Hall Ruritan Club, 99 Tinkham Rd., Eure, N.C., 27935.
