    Palmer Springs VFD Outside HGA Hunt

    Palmer Springs VFD will hold its annual Fall HGA Hunt on Sept. 14th and 15th. There will be a bench show with a full set of trophies and a kids handling class on Fri. Sept. 14th. This will be a Derby/All Age hunt with both classes running together but scored separately. We will turn hounds loose at daybreak on the 15th and run for 5 hours. For numbers call Tommy Clark at 434-689-3037(home). Please no phone calls after 10:00PM. Leave a message if no one answers. There will be 30+ judges and plenty of game. Permit will be in hand for this field trial.

    The spring hunt we usually have about 320. But the fall we usually have about 275 and that's because a lot of farmers are still in the fields.
