Results of the Puppy and Derby Hunt at C&M Fox Preserve in Chadbourn, NC on Saturday May 12th . by

It turned out to be a very pleasant day after a cool start . We had a total of 89 dogs (58 puppies and 31 derby).
Turned loose at 6:10am and had continuous running for 4 hours. The judges did a great job and were as follows:Kevin Howell:M.F.H.,Dwight Little, Jason Prevatte, Brad Howell, David Godwin, Adam Lowery, Jay Child,
Canon Ward, Daniel Locklear, Steven Carlyle, Tommy Carter, Curt Arnette and Dinky Johnson. Many thanks to these judges for doing such a good job. I would also like to thank Mike Carr with the Pride Dog Feed Company for donating the feed which was given to the winners. Thanks also to my wife Hilda for entering scores and to Lisa McShane for helping her and for the delicious cake she made. We had a large number of kids and they all seemed to have a good time.These are the next generation of fox hunters so lets keep them interested in the sport.
