The Eastern NC Fox Hunters Association held the 2012 “Running Hound” Bench Show on May 5, 2012 at the Craven County Jr. Jaycees fair grounds, New Bern, NC. We would like to say thanks to the Jaycees for allowing us to hold our event. The bench show was supported by hunters, family and friends, who all came out to help promote and support the running of hounds in N.C. Thanks to the ones who prepared our wonderful meal, Tony Mitchell, Bill Moore and Jeff Williams. We say thanks for all their hard work and dedication. To all the people who privately donated, we say thank-you. We want to thank the Bench Show Judge from Ayden, NC, Tony Wall and from New Bern, NC, the Ring Master, Craig Nobles, for their outstanding job. To all the board of directors who helped with the setting up and cleaning up at the bench show, thank-you. We say a special thank you to Betty Jones, Denise Ross, and Sandra Williams, for manning the table with the memberships, dog show cards, hats and shirts. Thank you to Harry Ennis, our President, for keeping us all straight, and to anyone that I missed let me say a big Thank-you to you. We would lastly like to sincerely thank all who supported this association by coming to the bench show, because not only did you support yourselves, you helped support all hunters in the fight for the rights to hunt and “Run Hounds” in NC today.

In the child handling class each child received a trophy for showing their puppies.
