Transportation in Eugene?

Hello there,

My friend and I have purchased our tickets for faerieworlds, and we are looking at possible hotels in which to shack up after a nights worth of dancing and fluttering and such.

However, being from canada we are unaware as to whether or not there is a public transit system in eugene such as busses or trolleys etc.

Assuming there is, are there busses that go near to the Secret House Winery? We are relying solely on public transportation , as neither of us have a car.

Any help or information about this would me very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Sincerely,

Nina Rose

Re: Transportation in Eugene?

I would look for a camping spot close to the event, from what i've heard almost all of the hotels are booked up all ready and there are no hotels in Veneta. We do have a city bus that goes out to Veneta (the closest town,) from veneta I'm sure you could hitch a ride with someone to the site. I hitched a ride to the Oregon country fair one year (very close to the secret house vineyard) and i felt very safe all by myself and I'm a young woman. I'm a vendor at Faerieworlds this year and we will be making many trips to the site everyday. from what i read, it will be you and a girlfriend, so we will be on the look-out for two women needing a ride. hopefully you can find a bus that takes you all the way to the vineyard from Eugene! pretty much everyone around Veneta is very kind to faeiries in need. i hope you have a safe and happy journey. -blessings and protection- moonlake
