FOOD?
Did anyone attend the Philly faeriecon last year? I need to know what the food was like. I'm vegan so I was wondering if there were vegan options. just a couple?

we don't have control over the food scene at the convention center, it's a bit frustrating actually, but the policy does not allow us to bring in our own organic gourmet fabulous food vendors like we do at faerieworlds.
fortunately there is an enormous market directly across the street from the convention center, that has every wonderful food choice imaginable.....it is an indoor center with a huge variety of tiny restaurants of all kinds...

I'm vegan too, so I was wondering the same thing last year. However, it wasn't an issue-- because they have no food whatsoever, which was an issue. :) We were directed to a "Chinatown" area, though, where we found an amazing restaurant with at least four different vegan options (of course, I can't remember the name...). According to my "Guide to Vegan Restaurants" book, there are plenty of vegan restaurants in the area, too.
So bring some food and some knowledge of where you might want to go and you should be fine, especially if you're able to drive!
