MCHAT
Info from Brittany Schmidt: http://www.utahfeat.org/site/mchats/new I just found an online version of the MCHAT that scores it and tells you which of the items are critical etc…and it tells you what the next course of action should be. I filled it out as I would for a young child with autism and it told me to seek out professional assistance for an autism evaluation. I filled it out endorsing some of the characteristics and then again with only 1 of the critical items checked. Very useful and I would recommend passing this along to your family physician as it is quick and easy to utilize. Birth – Three Providers and other professionals who do developmental screenings would find this useful as well. |
