Gas Prices
One of our regular visitors to the island, and this web site, is asking about current gas prices in our area. How about it? What's gas going for in your town these days? |

Today August 6 here in Chatham ON, it ranges anywhere from $1.09 - $1.11 a liter. I dont worry about it too much though because there is nothing we can do about it. I drive as little as I can get away with and I own a small car. I'm curious to know how much is gas on the island right now?

Seems to me that it was $1.14 in Little Current last time I filled up. |

Who has the best gas on the island is it Shell or the other guys? I cannot recall there name at the moment. |

I am from Columbus Ohio and I just filled up at 2.32 per gallon. Could I be so lucky it will be that price come Sept 21st when I am up there. |

Thanks to a tip from Rita at www.gordonspark.com we've come up with a partnership with www.OntarioGasPrices.com and they have added a Manitoulin section for us. The problem is that we have nothing listed right now so it's up to all of us to keep it up to date. I've added myself to their membership list and I suggest you do the same as it's free. If you don't want to give your email address to yet another internet entity I don't blame you and if you want to email me with your gas prices and location please feel free to do so and I'll update the "Gas Buddy" list for you. Let's try this out and see how it works for everyone. Thanks!
