Best Beach on Manitoulin!
August 26th Coming down to the wire we have Low Island and Providence Bay still tied for first. We'll keep the poll running through Labor Day to give everyone a last chance to evaluate the candidates. Carter Bay(4) 21% King's Bay(1) 5% Low Island Beach(5) 26% Providence Bay(5) 26% Wikwemikong Bay(3) 16% Seems to me that there was another beach we used to swim at in South Bay years ago... but thats another story!

Carter Bay is coming on strong but Low Island and Providence Bay are still tied for first! Only one lonely vote for King's Bay so far and there have been a couple of "others". If you "other" voters will let me know what your "other" is I can add the actual name onto the voting list. Thers is still time for your "other" to make the top of the list. Guess I'll continue this note some "other" time.

CARTER BAY PULLS AHEAD! Heading into the long weekend Providence Bay has been kicked down to second place with Low Island dropping to third. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to follow the results closely for the next few days as I'm off to the Winnipeg Beaches, which come nowhere close to anything we have to offer here on Manitoulin. Oh well, once again work must come first over the pleasure of keeping informed on Our Manitoulin! Here are the results as of 7:00 a.m. on September 2nd. Carter Bay (9 votes) 33% King's Bay (1 votes) 4% Low Island Beach (5 votes) 19% Providence Bay (7 votes) 26% Wikwemikong Bay (3 votes) 11% Other (2 votes) 7% See you all next week!
