LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
I'm looking a good place around eastern N.C. to go fox and cat hunting. Either private land or would'nt mind joining a hunting club if its decent sized and has game to hunt. Love to find a few fields to hunt this Saturday! If anyone might know of a good place please give me a call.(BARBER) 252-217-6377

Re: Re: LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
Chris, forgot to tell you that we've got a bobcat we've been running for at least two years on us. I know his route. We might have a chance to get after him. He's in the same area I was telling you about.

Re: LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
Barber you could do like some of these folks on here..... run in the pen, not catch anything, and tell everybody you got fox dogs.

Re: LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
It dosen't have to be a good place to hunt. Just a place with some game will be a big help.

Re: LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
Bob I guess you are talking to me so here we go! I've never said anything about running in a fox pen cause I sometimes run in one too.As for explaining the difference between a fox dog and a pen dog I'd have to show you but, you still would'nt understand! As for catching game we catch one or two in an area then move on to another place until the next year always leaving seed. Our main problem around here is TRAPPING! So instead of typing the word DUHH TO ME, LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE IT!(BARBER)

Re: LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
Barber I wish all we had to deal with was the trappers. Round where we are we have to deal with the night timers who get a kick out of calling game to the truck and shooting them in the light. Most have quit it in the last year but the damage has been done. It has taken us till the last month to find even find any young ones to mess with. Good luck with finding some game to run. Is Alvin going with you guys now?

Re: LOOKING A GOOD PLACE TO FOX HUNT?
chris if you dont mind running near 64 there are a ton of foxes across the street from my father in laws and as well as behind the house most guys dont want to run there because of 64 he live on the CL Keel road in Robersonville and if you want to run it one day i can set it up just want to tag a long as i am new to the game and just getting into outside fox hunting.
