HSUS AGAIN attacks Virginia hunting dog owners - FIGHT BACK!
Dear fellow hunting dog owners, For the second time in four months, the Humane Society of the U.S.(HSUS) has attacked Virginia's hunting dog owners. Its latest lobbying alert-posting twists facts, slanders dog owners and attempts to reverse the recommendations of the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries Hunting Hounds Study Committee. Its outrageous statements include "trophy hunters (sic) chase down and tear apart wild animals" and "hunters mistreat hunting dogs and abandon them to die." Join with the National Rifle Association, the Virginia Hunting Dog Owners' Association and other Old Dominion dog owner groups in supporting the DGIF Study's conclusion that Virginia hunting dog owners continue to be permitted to retrieve their animals from posted property, if necessary and as allowed under current law. Please don't assume that an email to SAC is sufficient. The final RTR decision will be made by DGIF's staff and Board. That's why Bob Duncan and CT Hill need to hear from houndsmen.
