Re: tracking collars

I think you get some good and bad with all kinds of collars. I have 12 magnum collars and had batteries replaced last year and they work fine. I know a couple guys who have problems with johnson collars before and after replacing batteries. Like I said earlier I think it's specific collars and not a collar brand problem. That's my 2 cent

Re: tracking collars

les could u give me the information on how to send them back to johnson. i sent mine to magnum telemetry in Grifton and the collar wont completely dead when i carried it to them, it would track about three quarters of a mile without the booster but it wont even track a quarter mile now with the booster on.

Re: tracking collars

I bought 11 Magnum tracking collars about 18 months ago. I have had 5 of the collars break already, mainly the switches fail to turn on or off.I sent back 2 already and they replaced them, but now I have 3 more bad. Great service but appears to be a lousy product.

Cody, give me a call. Got some information for you that might be helpful on those battery replacements.
