hunting club acreage NC, SC, VA
I doghunt in Florida and we are really fortunate to have alot of timberland to doghunt in my county. I hunt on 90,000 and 48,000 acre tracts. How many acres do yall hunt on? For you old timers, how many did you use to hunt on in the past? I hear old guys around hear talk about running a buck around the whole durn county before we got all these 'snowbird' transplants from south florida moving up here. I sure wish the times were like i hear they use to be about doghunting

EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA 15,000 ACRES NOW, BUT BACK IN THE DAY WHEN I WAS GROWING UP IN THE EARLY 70'S AND 80'S WE HAD 20,000 PLUS. SOME OF THE OLD TIMERS TALK ABOUT OUR CLUB BEING 30,000 ACRES IN THE 50'S AND 60'S. |

I wish we had a quarter of that to hunt.Alot of the bigger clubs used to have thousands of acres but everything is so cut throat now.Hunt clubs need to be aware of who hunts as a guest because I have already heard of a couple clubs losing land to a guide service after they hunt as a guest and offer triple of what the clubs pay. |

Goat gut. I hunt in Southampton as well(Franklin H.C)and with several other clubs in Va. and NC.I am always looking another club to deer hunt and fox hunt at. Are you taking new members and if so could you shoot me an email.I would like to if possible come and check your club out and maybe hunt with you guys once or twice during the deer season. |

Danny, I hunt w/ Goat Gut at B&B, your more than welcome to come hunt w/ us during deer season, get up with either of us when you want to go. Rooster has come a couple times with me. To be considered for membership, you have to hunt as a guest for a year or more and you cant be a member of another club. Guest fees are 50 Mike |
