I am involved with a small non-profit museum. Recently a camera was donated by a girl who could hardly carry it. She had found it in an abandoned cabin in the woods. I am trying to establish an age.
All metal in galvanized and coroded so it is dificult to read, but am reasonably sure of the following.
The camera: Tascope Delux, M-TA, #747502, of wood (I think Maple), two bellows, about 12X12 film size and I suspect maybe glass plate by the size of the plate holder space.
The lens: Wollensak Tascope, J-8, focus 10 1/2 inch. Also Tascope Automatic Aperture.
Any help appreciated.
