if you deserved it surely you would have won more points,points make prizes not just thinking you deserve to win it,bovey won it not upton i am sure chelsea think they deserved to win the league but they didn't did they, silly comment really

Upton, I believe it took you extra time to beat Bovey, who had 3 key players out and missed a penalty, in the herald cup game. You then lost, or were hammered, 5-2 at home in the league. And your away game against Bovey, which ended 0-0, you were clearly hanging on as your players were asking the ref how long to go and telling each other to boot the ball to safety into the corners. Oh - and didnt the 2 teams play in the devon premier cup? Who won?? I think Bovey won convincingly 3-1, the solitary goal coming in the last few minutes. Bovey's only defeat came against Brixham Villa (7-2) at the beginning of the season when they had cyril and bully (no offence) playing - and had 6/7 regulars out. So who really did deserve to win the league? Upton took it right to the wire, but it is a shame they cant congratulate a team that, this season, has outplayed them. I wish both teams all the best next season |

Would just like to say well done to everyone connected to Bovey Great season. Also like to say that Steve from Upton rang me first thing this morning to Congratulate Me, Cryil and Bovey. I think that was a top gesture and shows what a decent chap he is. Wish them well for next season as I know how I felt when I thought we were going to get runners up! Never mind on goal difference
