bishopsteignton 1sts & 2nds folding
at the start of next season there will be no bishop 1st team or resy team in the premier or div 4 due to the two top men resigning because of the lack of help from members of the club and lack of comitment from players, i`d like to say while playing under dave and geoff i`d enjoyed football at the club and thank them for all the hard work they have done over the years and wish them well for the future.

i know hw you feel when i played for paignton utd dave prosser did everything and in the end it was too much so the club folded, still whatever club these two go to will benefit. |

No-one fully understands the amount of work Dave Laughton put into that club, incredible. Sometimes players at the club didn't fully appreciate it - but he always made sure the kit was washed, the pitch was cut and the finances and ref's were sorted. He even got his kit on if we were short. A real shame, I had some great years at Bishops!! Gutted they've folded, but this is the way south devon football is going with lots of clubs folding and merging! |

it's the attitude of the young. most just want to turn up play and get down the pub. they are to ignorant to realise that it takes alot to sort out their saturday match. |

not forgeting the expense either when players have no money 4 subs but money for the pub or ciggys!!! so annoying |

how about this slant on it, not just for bishop, but how many former players do you now see playing golf and not putting anything back into the clubs they played for, that didn't happen years ago did it asheley, i say asheley did it ? |

What happened at paignton utd websey as you had a decent team about 5 years ago with some top blokes playing for you and just folded.Its seems to be happening every where now |
