Can't believe Buckle gets paid money to get a team to go and play like they did in these 2 matches. Thought they also had a fitness coach? Torquay players looked very laboured and lazy with no movement off the ball at all. |
Paul Allen

Good atmosphere at Plainmoor, but......! There was talk of Paul Buckle winning the tactical battle at Exeter on thursday.....well he lost it today spectacularly. Three centre-backs away from home, to get a result, is fine but to do the same at home was asking for trouble, and Torquay got it. The first half was scrappy and even, and so was the first ten minutes of the second half until Kevin Hill's goal. Buckle then left Tim Sills upfront on his own and invited Exeter to attack at will in an attempt to score two goals. They obviously accepted the invitation with relish. It pains me to say it but the better team has gone through after the two games. |
