Div 6 title race

All gone quiet about Denbury being div 6 champions
gap now down to 10 with 6 games in hand.

look out Buckland are behind you, and are coming to get you,

Totally out played last tonight could have been double figures.

well when denbury beat buckland then all it needs is for buckland to drop points in one more game then denbury will be championsssss and deservedly so since its there 1st time in the division unlike buckland who won this league a couple years ago and then went back down to division 7 to win the leagues again.

Not quiet true. Buckland Res won Division 6 and were promoted to Division 5. You are now playing Buckland 3rds.

buckland 3rds got promoted to division 5 and then when there 2nd team dropped out the devon and exeter league the 3rd team dropped back down to division 7!!! and the 2nd team carried on from the 3rds!!

u must be brain dead then flacky, i remember a team with players like shane gill, rob kerr, nick hayman, lee chapman, dan woj going up through the leagues because i played against them in there 1st game in division 6

Yes and that was our reserves....... Shane Gill (never played for the current 3rds in the two years they've been in the league), Rob Kerr (never played for the current 3rds in the two years they've been in the league), Nick Hayman (never played for the current 3rds in the two years they've been in the league), Lee Chapman (never played for the current 3rds in the two years they've been in the league), Dan Woj (never played for the current 3rds in the two years they've been in the league)...... Anymore players you'd like to name who have never played for the current Buckland 3rds. Lol its a totally different team so stop the ******** about us

oh right so it was the 3rd team that were in the devon and exeter league a few years ago then? NO i think you'll find im right on this one!! there was a 3rd team before scott chisolm was manager it was run by gary loader and paul tucker so what the hell r u on about u werent even at the club then!!

Dunno whats got your knickers in a twist bud but hope you aint a Denbury player or back room staff cause its sounding like sour grapes AGAIN. They might of had 3 teams back then but this current team WASN'T one of them. This is a totally new team called Buckland 3rds, not Buckland reserves or Buckland in the Devon and Exeter league. As for your point I wasn't even there two years ago, THATS EXACTLY MY PONIT. I joined this new team, Buckland thirds, in div 7 with a load of new players two years ago so THIS current team is not and never has been Buckland reserves. Please think about what your gonna say before you post another post

FACT, DENBURY HAVE LOST 2 DRAWN 2 TOTAL POINTS LOST 10. DENBURY BEAT BUCKLAND 3PTS DROPPED. THEY WOULD NEED TO DROP ANOTHER 7 PTS FOR EVEN IT TO GO TO GOAL DIFFERENCE, (I DONT THINK SO ) 2 MORE LOSSES IS ONLY 9PTS DROPPED

ALSO I CANT SEE BUCKLAND WINNING 1- 0 IN ALL THEIR REMAINING GAMES PROBABLY 5-0 OR 6-0 THEY WILL THEN HAVE A MUCH BETTER GOAL DIFFERENCE THAN DENBURY ANY WAY.

THE ONLY THING THAT IS GOING TO STOP BUCKLAND IS THE AMOUNT OF GAMES TO FIT IN, BUT THAT COMES WITH WINNING GAMES AND GETTING TO FINALS. DIDN`T SEE DENBURY PLAYING IN THE FINAL OF THE FRED HEWINGS CUP FINAL ON EASTER MONDAY.

pete... the reserves only took one player Darren Feasby but with out listing them all we had massive changes with players away, holiday, injuries etc.. But even with the changes we played really well for the last 60 minutes. First 10 minutes Saints just came at us and didn't let us settle. Once they had there 2nd goal lead we slowly starting creating chances just shooting wide, missing sitters, trying to walk the ball in the net, the keeper making good saves and defenders making a few last ditch tackles. 2nd half was one way traffic with us hitting the bar 3 times, post twice and again missing loads of chances from less than 10 yards out. But these things happen in football and is wasn't for our lack of effort we just couldn't get the ball in the net. It honestly must have been Saints had 4 chances scored 2 we had 20+ chances scored 1

I believe they drew their first game of the season against Dawlish, but Dawlish played a player who wasn't signed on so Denbury got all 3 points.

how will bucks cope with some of the more experienced players not being able to play tomorrow and with some who have injuries also.....? will they have strength in depth or pull some of the ressies in ???

Im sure that like any club at this time of the season they will optimise their resources....i know I would, they still have the league and another cup final to play in. Yes i've heard they have injuries and players away, but this is Buckland you're talking about, they have quality players at all levels......even at Minehead!!!!!

Interested - we do have a lot of quality in depth. Some haven't reached there potential yet but you can see they will be very good players in a year or two's time. There are some lads who are regularly on the bench for our reserves who may feature tomorrow we just don't know yet as like I said first team need a few players as well and a lot of lads have gone minehead. Whatever team we put out we'll give Denbury a good game

We have one lad on holiday, 2 players injured, 3 players in minehead thats half our team out so of course we have to bring in players. Players that are normally on the bench are already in the team so we have to bring in players.....

Reason we lost to Paignton Saints wasn't because of our weakened team it was because they scored more goals than us. They didn't play better than us or create more chances we just didn't score from the 20+ chances we had so lost. We'll never use it as an excuse because whatever team we put out if we all play well we should be able to create enough chances to win
