Taylor Grocery Band and our friends at George Street Grocery in Jackson,
Mississippi, invite you to throw down with us this Friday night as we ring 2005
in with our friends & old bandmates Cary Hudson & Ted Gainey. Music starts early
downstairs with Kool Filter Kings and our friend Lynn Drury from New Orleans. If
you haven't acted a fool in 2004, this is your last chance .
We received a phone call from our friend, the original wildman of bluegrass, Ed
Dye. He made it to the Angkor Wat Buddhist ruins in Cambodia for the winter
solstice. His hotel in the nearest city had monkeys and bats "big as dinner
plates," chickens & dogs & cats running around everywhere. He sounds happier
than he's ever sounded, which isn't saying much coming from his ex-wife. Ed's
bus was two hours late going to the beach the day the tsunamis and earthquakes
hit, so he is safe.
See yall at George Street !
