Temps Overtime

I see there is weekend overtime this weekend but only a selected few temps have been asked as usual.

I thought the overtime fraud had been stopped

Usually, the operator or main service person on line 15 gets a Saturday morning to clean, even in the days when "Big Nose" used to do it.

As for managers, they are never around and Montford is a waste of space as well. All you see him doing is clicking a mouse all day. He never types anything. I reckon he's bluffing and doesn't have a job at all.

Problem is, some overtime collators think they can do their own thing by not asking people for overtime, then putting them down as 'refused'.

It amounts to dishonesty and fraud and these people should be exposed for what they are. Thieves.

If people are fiddling the overtime, they deserve every bit of abuse they get.

Then there's the people who get refused holidays, then they go to Montford, who over rules everyone and lets them take time off regardless of the labour shortages it causes and the costs involved. You will also notice that the same faces are off every christmas as well. Montford is just a waste of space and should be got rid of.

What does Montford do exactly?

Tell him about labour shortages and he doesn't want to know.
He overrules the people in charge of holidays and lets people off which is why the packing lines are always short of people.
You watch, the same faces will be off again at Christmas if he has anything to do with it.

A. Because he is totally useless as a line manager.

the problem is who is the more corrupt ,the managers or collators ,on double days they make sure all their friends get in and the others just get whats left ,and you are powerless because the stewards are in this group,i would be happier if the managers did the overtime, they maybe dimwits, but at least there not as bent as the collators and stewards!!

it does not matter who does the overtime they will always get the favourates in first but i must admit some of them are skilled jobs and only the select few know how to do those jobs so my advise is if you cannot beet them then f... them and do your own thing

The overtime lists should be done fairly. Problem is, the temps are just treated as second class as far as the lists are concerned. If you are on a line for 3 days or more, and you can do the job, you should get the overtime, when it is that shift's turn.

I see 19 were in last Sunday but how many temps got in?

There are some useless perms who rob temps overtime and some of them can't even do the jobs.

There are also some useless temps (some who have relatives in Personnel) who get away with being lazy and taking days off. If you don't know who I mean, it should have "Dawn"ed on you by now.

The PM shift must be the lazy temps shift.

There are a few useless temps on the 19 layout as well. What about those 2 that Jackson is always chatting up.
The four-eyed one and the other one with the fake tan. Kelly and Kirsty. The 2 wastes of space. (when they bother to actually come in, that is!)

find out information before you start typing! dawn has been in hospital with a very serious problem that needed major surgery and has left her recovering for a long time. she could go on the sick and sponge off all tax payers money but she would rather work,on lite duties, as our factory understands and is a quite leaneant factory, we have it good in our factory and people are just greedy and wouldn't know how good they had it till its gone.when dawn came back it was just unfortunate that she needed more hospital treatment and was only off for a few days, that some of the permenant staff could have gone on the sick for for weeks!as for temps overtime, i think its being done fair as it can be done, there are lots of rules and most of them contradict each other.there were 2 temps asked in on sunday but only one showed up!
