I thought ut was a good race but need to control some rules for sure,#9 Todd was great and did his homework, I like what they guys said at www.thegreatraceplace.com Horsepower beats a few extra pounds, Good Job Frank |

Unfortunately I didn't get to make thr race, but by the video the #9 ate their lunch. Did anyone see how hard the cars were teched? What were they teching for? Just curious, not accusing anyone of anything. Handling and horsepower in the hands of a good wheelman will always prevail. |

I checked out this site,(The great race place) and I think they might be right, Horse power vs the weight rule might be the way to go, hope to make the Kentucky race and we will def have a 406. Frank Kimmel series looks to be the new way to go ss racing. |

406 is good but will it conserve fuel for Kentucky, 75 laps on 22 gals ia alot especially on a 1 1/2 mile track. |

I think 22 gals is enough Plus the break. and I think the big cubic inch is the way to go. I also would go with a manual tranny for sure. But do your home work !!! you do have a 450 lift rule and flat topps But trust me with out giving you guys all the hints this will work, And a 408 Ford should pull of the turn |

I hope a 22 gal works on fuel, we are thinking maybe big 2bl or small 4bl plus yellow flags will help and I am sure there wont be as many as Bristol. Still thinking 406 |

Cant help but over hear the engine talk. I got a 350, would dart heads and a cam give it enough jam to keep up at all? I had a dog at Bristol, but kept up in the turns. thnxs. Charlie. |

Charlie. We have a 355 and we ran a high 19 a few times. It wouldn't win the race but we were still fastest enough to be competitive. We were down a bunch of laps early because we broke a brake line, so we didn't get a good finish. |

Charlie i had a 355 and finished fourth. Was third fast in practice and qualified fifth with a 18.90. You can run good with a 350 there were some good cars with 400s the 9,5,11,00 but it is not impossible to run good with a little motor. |

At Kentucky last year i used 15 gal of gas at the half way point, dont worry at all about the gas with the 4412. |
