The Raptus - The Rapture Of The Church.

The Rapture 0f the Church has been known of for centuries as "The Raptus."

This is an open discussion forum that will concern Christians more than others.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also". John 14:3.

The rapture of the church has been one of the most discussed and misunderstood subjects in the Bible, its place in yet unfulfilled bible prophecy. Eg. Is it pre, mid, post tribulation or just a wishful fable? Share your thoughts with fellow Christians on this controversial but very real biblical subject.

A Note from the Moderator.

My position on a definite pre tribulation rapture is gained purely from the bible as much as I being purely a layman can understand others will of course will hold different positions which is ok as we are all different. The evidence for a pre tribulation rapture appears to me to be non negotiable which I attempted to explain on the rapture page, when looking at Enoch, Noah and Lot, all who where rescued before judgment fell on the earth and in Lot's case the cities of the plain. All being righteous men in Gods sight and the words of Jesus Himself from Luke 21:36. "Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

To be accounted worthy is to purely believe Him and what He did for us all on the cross, that He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and will return to firstly gather His own to Himself then seven years later as the victorious King to bring to an end the evil that Revelation so well describes and bring to an end those who hate Him.
