The Raptus - The Rapture Of The Church.

The Rapture 0f the Church has been known of for centuries as "The Raptus."

This is an open discussion forum that will concern Christians more than others.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also". John 14:3.

The rapture of the church has been one of the most discussed and misunderstood subjects in the Bible, its place in yet unfulfilled bible prophecy. Eg. Is it pre, mid, post tribulation or just a wishful fable? Share your thoughts with fellow Christians on this controversial but very real biblical subject.

The Anti-Christ Is ...


... all faiths that don't believe in Jesus.

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? 1 John 2:22a

He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22b


... those who believe Jesus' coming is other than as a human.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7

Hi Joyce.
As with your other entry you have a lot to say yet say nothing. We know that many antichrists have come into the world many from within the church as the verses you have noted tell us, an example would be the Nicolaitans mentioned in Revelation 2:6. The Nicolaitans where followers one Nicolas, possibly the deacon mentioned in Acts 6:5. Nicolas from the early church who may have lost his way, an proselyte from Antioch.

Their doctrines and lives were corrupt. They allowed the most abominable lewdness and adulteries, as well as sacrificing to idols; Their doctrines they slowly introduced into the church as being acceptable behaviour acting in indifference to the sound doctrine of the true gospel of Jesus Christ proclaiming their teachings as some form of twisted Christian liberty.

Revelation also speaks of a final antichrist, one who the Lord will destroy with the brightness of His coming 2Thessalonions 2:8. Revelation also depicts this antichrist as a man; Revelation 13:16. "And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. 17. And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred three score and six. Just a few verses that tell us of this coming evil person."
