I don't know if Tamara will read this, but I thought I would post it anyway.
While I was never a big "Carly" fan, I am such a HUGE Tamara fan!!! The character of "Carly" could be so despicable at times, especially when the previous portrayer was on GH (I don't want to name any names, but we all know who). I could never relate to THAT specific "Carly," but when Tamara came on the scene as "Carly," she made the character her own!
Even though Tamara's "Carly" could do the same scheming as the previous one, Tamara gave the character a certain CLASS and DIGNITY that the previous portrayer never did (just my opinion here).
I really just don't see any other actress being able to do what Tamara has done with the character. Tamara has made the character of Carly more "human" with complexities and vulnerabilities that were so life-like, so real, so palpable, it seemed at times. She did such an INCREDIBLY AMAZING job with this character, so I am very saddened to hear that she will be leaving the show.
Everyone said that Tamara had "big shoes to fill" when she replaced the previous portrayer, but she was able to fill those shoes..she met so many expectations and even surpassed them...in my humble opinion, she went far beyond what some may have expected! She is just a great actress who brought a lot of great qualities to the character. I think that if a new actress is introduced to portray "Carly" she won't just have big shoes to fill, she will have "SKIIS" to fill!!! I can't imagine any other actress being able to portray "Carly" with the sheer GRACE that Tamara was able to portray the character with.
I, honestly, just wish Tamara all the best for the future. I hope she is successful in all she does because she is an extremely talented actress, who deserves nothing but good things in life!
