I have waited for years to see Rose of Washington Square show up on laser disc and now on DVD. Maybe it is the Fanny Brice connection that keeps from being released or maybe some other reason. I have the CD and it is great, but I would like to see the film. The CD shows what a great voice she had. Along with some nice Jolson songs.

I saw Alice on Turner a few years ago. She didn't have anything good to say about Al. I think Jolie loved himself and that grated on Alice, but let's face it, the love was was justified. And we all love him.

Thanks for the Alice Faye guest spot. She was one of a kind.
