Firesides??
HOw exactly do your firesides work. I talked to my stake president and he liked the idea, and I just have to get back to him about when it would be good to do it. Thanks Mark. |

There's a brief description of three of the programs that I've worked up and performed at this page of my site: http://markhansenmusic.com/firesides.htm The first two are done acoustically, just me and my guitar, singing and telling stories. The last one, the one I enjoy doing the most, is a more energetic, concert-like show. I've prepared CD's of all of my songs, as they are on the record, but without the lead vocals. I use those as backing tracks and sing the songs. It's an all out rock show, but without a band. I've also come up with a fourth idea, that I'm very excited about, which is more of a full day mini-youth conference, with a number of musical artists giving classes in the afternoon and a concert at night. Refresh my memory. What part of the country do you live in? MRKH |

Yeah it's not too far.( especially after riding in a car for almost 15 hours straight  )The only problem is he's been diagnosed with cancer a month or so ago, so he's in and out of the hospital all the time. I haven't been able to catch him since I asked him, aside from Stake Conference and he asked that no one come up to see him. |
