New respect for TB's
I use to think all TB's were hot, flighty mounts with not much use except for racing but have been completely enlightened over the last year as to how amazingly versatile a TB really is. I think you could find wonderfull qualities brought out when crossed with just about any breed out there from Ponies to Draft horses! What are your thoughts?  Lisa

I do agree, but i do think it has something to do with proper breeding too. If you breed a mare with good qualitys such as feet,comformation,temperment ect. to a stallion of a diffrent breed but with really great qualitys as well, you have a better chance of getting a awesome foal with the good traits from both the parents. I feel this goes for more than just TB's tho. Good Parents = Good babies. Dont get me rong, Im shure this isnt always true... but i do belive you have a better chance of getting the horse of your dreams. so yep- good call

I have nothing against TB's except that i like thick powerfull looking horses like Andalusians and Friesians. I know that TB's make great jumpers and dressage horses when crossed. But I aggree that if you have a hot crazy mare or stud the foal wil be the same way. Obiously though there are exceptions. We have a nervous and stubborn brood mareand we bred her to a wlid stallion. Our foal, however, has the best temperment we could imagine. She is calm and friendly and lets you do anything. Just shows that not everything is certain.
