4/12 Recall at Hospital
Went along for my 4/12 follow up yesterday. They was some concern over some Optic Nerve Head "shelving" (shallow saucer like cupping common in myopic glaucoma patients) and an asymmetric Intra Ocular Pressure measurement. The ophthalmologist (who I know professionally and socially) also wanted a Visual Field performed but the hospital doesn't have as good equipment as I have access to so I got it performed before it went. I also got my Central Corneal Thickness measured to rule out a potential cause of error in IOP measurements. At this appointment, my IOPs were normal and equal (16mmHg R&L), ONHs healthy and no VF defects. The result, 6 month recall with another VF. |
