update.. ( was told of problem 15 years ago...)
so the appt went well. my pressure was down to 22. he said the optical nerves looked ok for now. he went over info from previous exams and said my history is unusual but can be managed. i was really worried about it all! he doesnt think i need meds at this point. yeh! he diagnosed me w/ ocular hypertension and pds. gotta go back in a few months |

Sounds a good result. Although I am a little surprised that 22mmHg is considered Ocular HyperTension based on one reading. A lot of guidelines consider it to be top end of normal/borderline and not something I'd be happy to label as OHT without repeat measures. |
