Hi I was diagnosed with PDS about 5 years ago. But the last month i have been having flashes of crescent shaped light in my peripheral vision of my right eye. thenlast 2 days my right eyebhas been watering as if i am crying. I have a doctor appt tomorrow at 845. Does this sound like anything you guys may have experienced?

It's possible it is related to vitreous traction on the retina. This has recently been discussed in the topic "scar tissu (sic)" and "k.s.d.". There are other possibilities but your eye doctor should be able to investigate these. As for the watering, it is unlikely these are related as they stem from very different parts of the eye. Again, there can be many causes but most of them are common and harmless. Hope you get it sorted out. |
