KublaCon News, Again!
It has been recently brought to my attention that a minimum of eight hours of Game-mastering is required to get free entry to Kubla. Now read on: I went to the website and I discovered this to be NOT true. The website states that the minimum time required is still six hours. Eight hours is only required for volunteer work... ex: desk work, painting table, etc. Also, it does not need to be a continuous 6 hours. You can break up the time into multiple sessions. I'm mostly writing this message to stop Matt from torturing himself with an eight hour marathon of fightin' plastic. It's a good game, but I don't want him to leave hating it. The 6 hours also can include expected setup and cleanup time. The previously mentioned details seem to be the norm for all conventions, so remember what was said here for the future. In an unrelated note: the graduation ceremony for my department commences in the middle of Saturday during KublaCon. While this changes nothing this year, next year when I graduate will be quite problematic. Do I really need a college degree in the end? I won't feel bad if you guys bail on me and go to the con, I fully understand. That is all.

Re: KublaCon News, Again!
Why would we bail on you? We go to these cons every year, whats one year not going gonna make. Besides, we can still go Sunday if its absolutely necessary. I've been thinking of going to Fanime one year anyway... Might be interesting... change of pace, new things to do... well... looking at anime anyway... Master of the elipses... ... ... right... right.. right. right righ (may as well keep going) rig ri r ok, I'm done. |

How do we break up our event? Do I have to say I'm running two games in order to get two timeslots, but enter the same game? I don't think anyone would bail on your graduation for KublaCon. |

Re: KublaCon News, Again!
If you want another timeslot you would have to set up a second game to run. Really, all you're doing is reserving that timeslot in a space at the con. Its up to you what to do with it. Theoretically it doesn't have to match your game description at all. |
