Mordheim Discussion
Ok, Mordheim time! We havn't played this game in like, ever. So I think its high time we started. I've been building terrain for it over the past week or so, and its lookin pretty sweet! We'll need a lot more though to make it work. So, I'm gonna make as many buildings as I can, and they will be brown with some cobblestone roads. (I found a really awesome way of making cobblestone, that I fully intend to show off! The other thing I've discovered is something thats like popsicle sticks, but better! They're longer and thinner, just perfect for making wood floors! Or wooden siding, or shingles, or tiles, or bricks, or whatever you need! They are perfect for ANYTHING!! Its friggin awesome, So I've been using them to make the terrain. I glued a bunch of them to the floors of the buildings that we already had, and they now look much better. Some of the buildings also now have sand on the sides, making the walls look better, so the only thing left really is to paint them. I will have at least one painted by Frieday, on which time I hope to see you, and by you I mean Andrew and Matthew. Just like what happened when Joel built the awesome Necromunda terrain, you're gonna look at this and be all like, "Why don't we play this game?!" And if no one else shows up for the lan party, if it's just you guys, then I think thats what we'll do. We'll set up tables, and play this game. And you know something? You know something, we will not give up! We will not give up in New Hampshire, Missuri, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Missigan, New Jersey, California, North Dekoda, Virginia, Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, Massechusates, Iowa, South Dakota, New York! And then we're going to Washington DC to take back the white house!! YEEAAAHHHHHHHH!!! erm... right... that just kinda came out of nowhere... |

Re: Mordheim Discussion
I wish I could help you make Mordheim terrain. I love Mordheim! Now I'm a little sad. I guess I'll just have to make my own cobblestone and buildings.

Terrain & More
I think I'll finally get around to painting my Mordheim guys pretty soon. Do you think we should get some kind of brown cloth for a table surface? I know a textured surface would probably look a little better, but the cloth surfaces are SOooo much easier to store and transport. Plus they weigh like, 1 pound together. All our 2ft tiles weigh like 1 pound each. In a big stack they are over 20 pounds... Anyways, what do you think we should get? Andrew and Erin have done much to increase the buildings to cover the surface and it looks nice. Hey, someone should run Mordheim at the next Con. DunDraCon? I remember when we did it there once before and people actually showed up.

Re: Mordheim Discussion
Running Mordheim could be fun. If I ran it, though, I'd need a lot more practice. I guess I'd also have to make my own mat. I bet I could make those paper buildings I got at SacCon last year fold up. If so, I guess I could make it portable enough to bring to conventions. Another shoebox-sized game would be good. DundraCon would be the perfect venue for it, but that's when ConQuest NW is happening. Anyway, how's your terrain going, Andrew? I made copies of the buildings to send to you, but the coloring is better than the ones I made earlier, so I think I'll have to make more copies If I want to send them. If you don't want them, then I won't even worry about it. What small terrain peices would be in Mordheim? |
