THE ALL NEW FORUM!!!!!!!!
Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Look at what we have here, an all nuevo forum. Well, actually it's the exact same forum as before, but now with makeup! Isn't she pretty? It turns out that bravenet made a bunch of sweet upgrades to the service I haven't been paying attention to. One of the most striking is full on html integration action, as you can see. I disabled the annoying spam protection, I think it discouraged user usage as well as spam. It might come back if spam shows up, but I doubt it will. We don't have excessive traffic here. On that note, I hope to change this. Let's see some usage. I'm going to check it often for awhile. If you grant me the same then I think we can make this awesome. Anyways, that's all. If you have any requests or suggestions please let me know. If changing something means that this forum will become fun and useful for you then I'll change it. Poll time! Let's fill this thread with thoughts, go!

It is quite cool, but I still think you should have some kind of membership system... Also the ads that show up are rather annoying... Somehow they get through the popup blocker of Firefox... |

It is wierd that the popups work no matter what you do, I'll grant you that. Ads are a fact of life for free forums, but our ads appear to be comparatively worse than others. I'll lookout for a service that allows for member and non-member posts.

I think the invasionboards do member/non-member posts. If you just post it like puts up a name but puts your name in red or something... I think... or it just puts you as anonymous... I dunno... I've never done it before... I don't think its really discouraging though to have to log in... it keeps up a good pace with those who have accounts. Because then once you have an account, people are more likely to post. |

make that 4 cents... they're almost the worst ads I've seen of any website! It's just good that they don't flash too much. |

The pop-ups aren't too bad. Worse than any other site I've visited, but they are still ignorable. Constant advertising is the way of the future, get used to it. |
