Message:   ESE Advisory Council has many roles and responsiblities.
First and foremost is to provide information, resources and support for parents of ESE children. We are here to assist you, answer pertinent questions and guide you to the appropriate district staff to kelp solve any areas of concern regarding your child's education. We are also established to indicate to the School Board and the Superintendent of Schools areas of concern, recommendations, promote initiatives that will benefit our parents and students, be a voice for ESE on many School District committees and through State and local governments. We also assist parents with their child's IEP's (Individual Education Plans).
Parent input is vital to our mission: The Advisory is here to help make a difference. Meetings are held once a month. Each month the Advisory has a presenter to provide important information on a vital topic. The schedule is on the web page: www.browardeseadvisory.com
