Growing up in the council ESTATES!!!
ASSERT KICKS ASS. I'm living in Chicago. I need some help. I'm researching for a production of a play called OSAMA THE HERO by Dennis Kelly. the characters in the play live in the council estates and a couple of them are teens, maybe kids who'd listen to Assert. This is what I want to know in as many different ways as possible: How would you describe living/growing up in the estates? Give me YOUR story, as many people as possible. PLEASE. this will be hugely helpful to our cast of actors who are totally ignorant of what this life was like. Our only comparison here is public housing in America, which, from what I can tell, is different. Please POST! I'd go researching in books, but I bet this will elicit better information than any writer could pull out of his ass. -dd |
